WHAT YOU EXPERIENCE

Normandy and Brittany surround the sea area that is home to the English Channel Islands. The term territory hardly fits better than here, as the islands are directly under the British Crown. Influenced by the Gulf Stream, the islands have an average daily maximum temperature of over 20°C in summer and Jersey also offers the most hours of sunshine. Tides, currents, swell, waves and wind direction will present the navigator with one or two tricky tasks. Discussing the situation for each of the daily stages is just as much a part of the success of the trip as looking back on the sailing manoeuvres of the day while enjoying a beer together. We will take the time to explore the island, keeping an eye on the right time to cross the English Channel towards the South of England. If wind and waves are with us, we will visit Dartmouth (GB), Torquay and Weymouth on the British Isles. The estuaries of the rivers of the same name also offer us a sheltering marina, as well as a typical British harbour backdrop to linger in.

everything can, but nothingt have to
Sailing involves many different tasks, which we will tackle together. Helmsman, navigator, deck hand during sailing manoeuvres or pentry. The skipper has the last word, he pays attention to safety, but otherwise he accepts any help. Knowledge will be refreshed and hand movements will be explained and then it starts ...
