WHAT YOU EXPERIENCE

From our home port in Lemmer we start in the direction of Enkhuizen, a municipality located in the west of the Ijsselmeer. The typical Dutch flair of a harbour town combined with its cosy pub landscape awaits us. About 20 nm to Kornwerderzand or Den Oever, the two lock gates to the Wadden Sea (or North Sea) determine the next day's stage. The joint trip planning, taking into account the weather forecast, will make it easier for us to decide which of the two we will head for. After the lock we use the tidal current to reach the 3 West Frisian islands with their unique sandy beaches. We will follow the fairway, visit lively harbours and look out for seals. Port time, exploration of the islands and longer sailing stages in tidal waters offer variety, will inspire us, but also challenge us sailing.

CUSTOMER QUESTIONS

No special requirements. Everyone is welcome. Little knowledge is desirable.
Clothing and footwear appropriate to the weather
At the beginning of the cruise, a board cash desk is set up according to good seamanly custom. From this the crew pays all running yacht costs, e.g. diesel (3 litres/engine hour), harbour fees and the common catering on board. The skipper is a guest of the crew and is kept free of charge by the board cash.
