Whisky & Sail Ijsselmeer

“I was sailing the Scottish and Irish seas with our sailing yachts BENNO and HERA. From there I brought back many stories and whisky”… Either way, our skipper and whisky lover will open the “witty” round. Single Malt or Triple Wood Malt – 10,14 or better 18 years – Oban, Jura, Islay or Dublin, who knows? Together we “work out” the view, try, philosophize, look at the photo album and enjoy the flair of the sailing yachts. In addition, we offer a trip on the Ijsselmeer and if you like, you can stay overnight and enjoy the breakfast together.

WHAT YOU GET LIVE

Whisky - the precious water of life

We will bring the world of whisky closer to you during the tasting. History, production up to the optimal tasting of the precious water of life, are on the agenda. The photo album is opened and presents pictures from Scotland/Ireland and the whisky distilleries. Thus the experience becomes even more intense. In about 2-3 hours you will enjoy 5 or 6 whiskies depending on the tasting category. Here the entertainment value is clearly in the foreground. Whisky nerds will not get their money's worth ... deadly serious is not!

Catering

A small snack is served as a fortification. Of course, still ice water and bread are also available at any time during the tasting.

Car driver

You do not drink alcohol, then you can participate in our tastings at a reduced price. In this way you will also learn everything about whisky. Instead of the whisky we will serve you different kinds of water with taste, e.g. with rhubarb or apple flavour.

Ambience

We sit together on one of our sailing yachts. In the heated saloon or on deck, the weather god will do his best to make the decision for us.

    Why don't you go with... a short trip on the Ijsselmeer 50€ per guest

    We go with you on the Ijsselmeer in full group. 2-3 hours before we moor again in the marina for whisky-tasting.

    One night on board... will you stay for breakfast? 50€ pro Gast

    We offer you as a group one berth each in a double cabin. Sheets and covered pillows are on board, please bring the rest with you. The 2 yachts in Lemmer are also suitable to accommodate m/f separately as desired.
    Hotel instead of boat? That is also possible, but believe us, you are missing something! We would be pleased to make you an individual offer.

    Amsterdam is worth a visit individual offer

    Change of location: We are located for you at the Amsterdam Marina and will arrange the boat transfer before/after the event. If you would like to accompany the transfer from/to Amsterdam as part of the event (1 day trip each), please contact us. For groups of 10 persons or more we will come with BENNO and HERA.
    sustainability?! If you come by train, you save the car trip and better let the environmentally friendly sailing yachts drive up in Amsterdam.
